- Design, lead and execute technology-specific audits including topics such as technology systems, IT projects, and environments, evaluating the effectiveness of controls and risk management practices
- Identify risk-focused audit areas, assess business processes, workflows, transactions, and control frameworks to determine deficiencies and vulnerabilities
- Analyze audit results, formulate clear and actionable recommendations, and lead closing meetings with auditees
- Ensure proper documentation of audit work performed, including detailed workpapers, and write comprehensive audit reports and following up on the implementation of the agreed actions
- Develop business relationships and encourage knowledge sharing within the global Internal Audit community to implement business and technology solutions
- Manage relationships with auditees, handling challenging situations, and delivering conclusions in a diplomatic and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing timely updates on audit progress and outcomes
- Stay informed about emerging technological trends and developments and assess their impact on business operations and risk management practices
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology auditing or technology risk management, preferably within the financial services industry
- Understanding of technology, associated risks, control frameworks, and leading industry practices
- Understanding of auditing principles and techniques, and risk management concepts
- High level of integrity, reliability and responsibility
- Open to change and new (technical) developments, innovative and agile
- Passion for people, are collaborative, empathetic, solution-oriented and curious
- Ownership, work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong analytical with the ability to identify risks, evaluate controls, and provide practical recommendations
- Strong communication skills - in German and English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Proficient in using audit management software, data analytics tools and techniques, and Microsoft Office suite
