- Implement and enforce local security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines in alignment with the BME Group security framework
- Support the BME CISO with the development and implementation of the Group information security strategy and roadmap
- Implement and mature (group) security architecture and development guidelines
- Support the OpCo's with expertise and direction
- Roll out and operate security awareness and training and promote a culture of security awareness and accountability
- Identify, assess and mitigate security risks and issues
- Implement and coordinate crisis management and incident response procedures
- Assist with coordinating group and OpCo detection & response security services (vulnerability scans, alerts)
- Monitor. Measure and report on the effectiveness of information security controls, processes and technologies within OpCo's and towards Group CISO
- Support the assessment, selection, implementation, operation and improvement of Group security services and solutions
- Sound Information Security knowledge and job experience
- Experience in prior leadership and management positions

About the role
At the moment there is a high need for German speaking Regional Information Security Officer for the Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) region.
Since we are a matrix, you will lead the security across DACH countries but report to the Group CISO in the Netherlands.
As Regional Information Security Oficer you must be capable to manage information security within DACH OpCo's by providing leadership, SME expertise and program oversight and direction.
RISO's will be involved in the day-to-day security activities, becoming the go-to person for the whole organization on Information security matters. He sets out and mandate standards or policies, coordinates implementations, and manages to remediate security issues, concerns and vulnerabilities.
