    Beschreibung

    In the Ablation and Joining department, the Cutting group deals with all process-related issues relating to laser cutting and the associated plant and system technology. Our current work focuses on the development of high-speed cutting processes for electromobility, including the cutting of bipolar plates and battery electrodes, the integration of AI-supported process monitoring and control for such processes and the use of digital twins in laser cutting systems.

    What you will do

    • Preparation, execution, recording and evaluation of experiments
    • Construction and conversion of test setups
    • Extension of existing software for process data acquisition, analysis and system control with Python and LabVIEW

    What you bring to the table

    • You are studying mechanical engineering, automation technology, electrical engineering, another engineering science or physics
    • Programming skills, ideally in programming with LabVIEW and/or Python
    • A structured, independent way of working, initiative and the ability to work in a team

    Remuneration is based on the general works agreement on the employment of auxiliary staff.

    The weekly working time is hours.

    The position is initially limited to 6 months, after which a longer term is also possible.
